Hi Charlotte,
That picture is adorable. The techniques used are flat angle, which can show that we are on teh same level as the child. The distance is close-up, so we are looking at the kid and what she is doing. The light seems to be a flash, where the face is bright and the background is dark. This can show mystery in the background. The idea being expressed is that there is a young child having messy fun. We can relate to the child and think about our own times when we had fun.
Nice photo Charlotte!

Messy picture haha. I think it was a high angle, and therefore it would be an adult taking a picture of a little child. The photo was also a close up shot and makes one curious about what the backround is and maybe even what the child is eating. I can solve that one though, its obviously cake because of the chocolate all over the kid's mouth. She also seems very happy, and I think that it is her B-Day. The Child's face is also very illuminated and makes us focus onto it.

This is so cute! I can see the expression on her face because of the clouse-up and I can see that she is very happy and probably having a great time. The flat angle makes it seem as if the person looking at the picture is one of the girls friends and is also endulging in the fun filled activity! The close up also makes the viewer emphasize with the girl and makes them smile!

Charlotte, this is cute :)
The camera angle is flat and the shot is a close up. The flat angle puts the viewer on the same level as the child, and brings us back to when we didn't have a care in the world. When getting food all over our face didn't matter. You had to bend over to take this shot, right? I assumed this because if you didn't, the top of the door in the background would probably be visible. The close up makes the viewer really focus on the child's expression. She seems guinely content, but it's a contentment that comes hand-inhand with childhood innocence. She doesn't look self-conscious, and sends a feeling of warmth through the viewer. The hapiness is evident, even if it is just on the face of a young child. The story behind this photo, i would guess, is that a young child has just finished eating ribs, has sauce all over her face and, frankly, she couldn't care less.

by the way, my photo was taken on the ramp going down onto crosstown off of Tracy. That's probably why it looks so familiar. :)

I like use of flat angle so we could be on the same leavel as the kid. you can see the care free expression on the child's face. The use of close up is a good idea because then we can see the mess on her (?) face. an idea being expressed is that we are very carefree when we are young but learn differntly as we grow older.

Ok Charlotte. I'm pretty sure that this picture is super cute. I like how the background is all dark. The shadow causes the person to really pop, and the expression of joy on her face with whatever food that is all over it is priceless. Very nice.
